“So, is it your moral duty to continue something that is no longer producing results? Or can you accept that, what you are known for, once served a market, but that market was temporary? And that proud service no longer satisfies a customer need.” -TF
Pretty simple decision. I would downsize my resources related to the particular service line until such time that a viable market returns for the service. If that market never returns, well then that most likely means that a new, faster, or more productive service line has replaced the old one. On the other hand, core services are core services, but that doesn’t mean that you don’t evolve.
